Pick up from the hotel around 06:00 am, to leave for the southeast of the city of Cusco, in private transport, after 2 hours of travel we arrive at Checcacupe, where we can visit its colonial temple, part of the Andean baroque route, as well as we can appreciate the Inca bridge and the colonial bridge of the city; continuing with our tour, after an hour of travel we arrive at the starting point of our walk, 4900 meters above sea level, we walk approximately 45 minutes to the highest point of our excursion which is at 5000 meters, passing through the unique formations of the mountain range of the rainbow
The view of the snow-capped Ausangate Mountain is impressive. Once we reach the top, we will have in front of us the wonderful Vilcanota mountain range.
We will have approximately one hour to explore the place and take photos. Then we descend for approximately 30 minutes to the starting point, we take our box lunch, then we start the return trip to the city for approximately 3:30 hours, arrival at your hotel in Cusco.
